Payment options

As a certified perinatal doula with Doulas of Rhode Island, I’m qualified to work with insurance in RI state – Blue Cross/Blue Shield, United Healthcare, and Neighborhood Health Plan. Unfortunately in Connecticut, insurance does not cover doula services at this time. We still encourage families to call and check with their insurance, as well as with their FSA/HSA’s as those funds are often approved for doula services.

Another popular option is to add a “doula fund” to your baby registry!

I’d be very happy to talk with you about the kind of support you’re looking for, so we can decide on the right combination of services that will fit your needs. The goal is to ensure that you feel truly supported…while also finding ways to make doula services affordable to you and reasonable to all parties.
